Jake is off this week, leaving Mike and Ben to talk about how they both completed Blasphemous, Mike getting back into SnowRunner and playing the brand new THPS 1+2 demo, Ben not having a good time in HyperScape, but having a great time with No Man’s Sky!

Big news with the delay of Halo Infinite until 2021, and Microsoft confirming a November launch for the Xbox Series X, Epic causing Fortnite to be removed from both Apple’s and Google’s app stores due to circumventing their IAP rules, Control having a re-release with some shady tactics, and another free update for Dead Cells!

S05E31: August’s State of Play

Mike finished Far Cry 5, played through an episode of Hitman 2, got a win in Fall Guys, and started up Blasphemous. Ben also got a win in Fall Guys, while finishing Ghost of Tsushima, and delving back into No Man’s Sky. Jake had quite the hectic week but did manage to squeeze in some Fall Guys too.

Light news week with the only big news coming from Sony’s newest State of Play, Apex Legends announced their Season 6 release date, and Halo Infinite’s multiplayer will be free-to-play!

Jake is out on family business this week, so it’s just Mike and Ben, who both spent a lot of time in The Last of Us 2 as well as Retrobowl, while Mike also started up Dark Souls Remastered.

July PS+ games lead news this week, we’re getting a Fallout TV series on Amazon, NBA 2K21 has no free next-gen upgrade and a higher next-gen price, Fortnite’s “Save the World” is finally out of early access, Discord is moving away from “gaming-focused” branding, Curse of the Moon 2 releases next week, and now you can play 200-player Warzone matches.

S05E25: EA Play 2020

(NOTE: Mike is dumb and forgot to check what microphone was selected, so it used his laptop microphone, that’s why he sounds so bad. He regrets this deeply.)

RetroBowl is the new mobile hotness that both Mike and Ben have been playing. Mike has started up Last of Us 2, along with continuing Apex Legends and No Man’s Sky. Ben completed Dying Light and started Destiny 2. Jake put a lot of time into Warhammer Inquisitr, completed Whispers in the Machine, and started up Dark Souls 3.

Top news is EA Play 2020 and recapping the announcements, THPS 1+2 gets more info and more skaters, Bloodstained: Curse of the Moon gets a sequel, Crash Bandicoot gets a fourth entry, the Avengers will get a free upgrade to the PS5 version, and if you have Cox internet, you can be a truly elite gamer.

S05E24: CyberDelayed

Mike played through Saints Row 3 Remastered and finished Project Warlock while waiting for the upcoming Last of Us 2. Ben is halfway done with Dying Light, and went back to Destiny 2. Jake started Persona 4 Golden, continued with Warhammer, and might buy Skyrim again?

CyberPunk 2077’s delay is the top story this week, Hitman 3 will carry over all progress and content from 2, a new Pokemon Snap game was announced, and EA brings more titles onto Steam.

S05E23: The PlayStation 5

Mike has a rough go with a few games, but bounces back with Project Warlock and Ghost Recon: Breakpoint. Ben also got into Breakpoint, along with starting Dying Light, and getting back into Battlefront 2 and Final Fantasy XIV. Jake completed both Arkham City and Arkham Knight, and played a bunch of Warhammer titles.

In news, we have the announcement on the future of the Destiny franchise, the newest season of Call of Duty: Warzone, a delay for Dark Pictures Anthology: Little Hope, crossplay arriving for No Man’s Sky, and a new expansion for Path of Exile.
